Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Hello!

For this week's card, I decided to make a card based on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - You Gotta Have Friends.

I love challenges. They inspire me to create new things each week, and I love Simon Says Stamp so it's two of my favorite things in one! :)

I made this card using the Mama Elephant stamp 'Tree Friends.' I also used some embossing powder and vellum for the sentiment and some distress ink in the background.

As a beginning card maker, it takes time to find new techniques and for this card, I used some new techniques that I've been inspired.

I hope you enjoyed the card I made and I hope to upload a version of it soon to Youtube.

Thank you!
Angela.

Simple Watercolored Card

Hi everyone!

For today's Card-Making Monday, I made a very simple card using watercolors. The inspiration for this card from the very first card I made.

This was the end result.

You can see the way I created the card here.

These were the Supplies I Used:
- Bazzil White Cardstock
- Hero Arts Embossing Powder
- Lawn Fawn ‘Hello Sunshine’ Stamp Set
- Versamark Stamp Pad
- Hero Arts Mini Cube in Pink
- Scotch Foam Mounting Tape
- Sakura Koi Watercolors
I also recommend using a Craft Sheet and either a Broad or Thin Water Brush .

Until next time,
Angela

My current Filofax setup

Hello there!

For this friday's video I wanted to show something different. I posted a video on Youtube showing my very simple Filofax set-up. I don't have much in my Filofax because I want for my to-dos and for my lists to stand out. I want to be able to show different things in related to papercrafting as well.

I started a segment on my Youtube called Freedom Fridays and what that just means it that - every Friday I will be posting different type of videos - From haul videos, to tour videos, little videos here and there, just a whole bunch of assorted videos. The freedom is endless..

Here's a look at this week's Freedom Friday ... my current Filofax Setup.

My Current Filofax Collection looks like this:

The filofaxes pictures are all Personal sizes and they include: an Apex in Purple, a Malden in Purple, a Finchley in Black, a Songbird in Purple, a Metropol in Pink and a Metropol in Purple, a Saffiano in Purple, and a Chameleon in Black. I also own a Pocket Baroque in Black and the current Filofax I am using is the Personal Osterley in Plum.

My first card-making video will be uploaded on Monday. I really hope it goes as planned and I don't freak out or stutter too much. I will see you guys this Card-making Monday!

With care,
Angela.
